Painting the walls

Sue helped me paint one wall on Wednesday, and today I went in and filled all the little holes I could see.

When the filler is dry I can sand it down and put another coat of paint on.

It's a longer job than it seemed it would be and I'm not very fast as I get tired very quickly, not having recovered fully yet from the cold I caught in England. After half a day I'm exhausted, but at least I have no particular deadline to work to. It would be nice to get finished and open at Easter or just after, when the visitors start to arrive.

Then there's the other wall to do...

... and of course I have to move in some display furniture...

  1. hi, I enjoy looking at the progress, it gives me energy to work in our own house!
Also still have a lot of painting to do!

I love the needlebook I gought from you, I use it every day to make my bears!
    Bye and take care

  2. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on my blog. We're very good at passing on colds in England - plenty of them about at the moment! Wow, wow, wow - I just love the look of your shop - it's going to be fantastic! Rebecca x
